I only have four of those. There are bunch they missed. More or less any death metal album cover would make the list.
I agree that Fistful of Metal doesn't make the cut. I always thought that was a cheesy cover. And South of Heaven isn't even the most disturbing Slayer cover. I also think Hairway to Steven is more disturbing than Electric Larryland.
Very good but I agree with what's already been said. It's hard to make any drawn cover as disturbing as a photo.
A couple others I can think of: The Scorpions album with the naked under age girl. Sell out by The Who. Pete Townsend in a bath full of baked beans is disturbing to me.

That would be "Virgin Killer". They changed that cover eventually in the US. It was borderline kiddie porn, no doubt.
true, so many metal covers should have made that list.. I think Mayhem's "Dawn of the Blackhearts" with a (supposed) actual picture of the recently-suicided lead singer's dead body, brain exposed.. probably on-par with the kiddie-porn Scorpions album for genuine "disturbing" qualities..
