The silver screw doesn't even look to Boss-ish to me. Besides, I think if it was a legit DF-2 SS, wouldn't it most likely be the Super Distortion version. I mean if there are SS DF-2s for that matter....
Just checked the main area of BossArea, no SS DF-2s were made. I already have a hatred for thieves, forgery artists, and counterfitters, but I have even more hatred for bad thieves, forgery artists, and counterfitters, because if they are good at it, at least there is some skill, knowledge, and creativity being shown, used, and expressed... |

I suppose he may have bought it like this and doesn't know much about the Boss pedal chronology thinking it's rare....
...but it's more likely he's a con merchant!
PS. Anybody wanna buy my Silver Screw RC-2 |

definately non authentic. DF-2s started Sept 84 i believe? Silver screws didnt even make it to the 80s i think.
i know what you mean jack about wrong info. i mean its ok if the guy doesnt know that theres no possible way its SS. but ill bet you this pedal will go for extra because of some new collector that doesnt know this and thinks hes buying silver screw. |

it wont go for more than $99 since thats start bid and BIN
i might buy it
I know theres no SS DF-2, but ive been looking for a DF-2 for $100 for a while now theyre selling around $150 now
i got my eye on another one, but if that gets up there, ill happily buy this one (a DF2 is a DF2 )

I know 100% that the seller knows what they are doing, they have been selling vintage pedals for a while now and always getting top price for them!!! You dont have a lot of old pedals (of various brands) continually if you dont know what your doing.

| He has a lot of interesting pedals of other brands. I have been looking for the Pearl parametric eq for a long time but the one he's selling is quite deep ..... |

ya, he's definately waiting for a new collector that thinks hes buying a Silver Screw DF-2. someone who knows enough about collecting that SS is more collectable but doesnt know enough about collecting to know that it doesnt exist |
