Let's not forget heroine. I believe it was the Boss BH-2 (Bang Heroine) that did him in along with the firearm of course. If I had to live with dumb-ass Courtney I'd polish the shotgun with my teeth. Food for thought on a multi-planar level.

I still remember the day and where I was when I heard.
Not as tragic as Dimebag.
If we're talking dead 90s and newer celebrities.

I still listen to Nevermind now and then, a great album!
I remember that I was very happy when Nirvana & the other grunge bands came in the early 90s, those records sold and had a lot of airplay. The music selling much and played on the radio 10 years before Grunge had been mostly real shit. So Nirvana was, for me, a fresh wind of change, really needed. The sound of Nirvana was really hard and gutsy, much more than the metal of that time, the spirit of Neil Young all over it.

All things considered, I prefer Dave's celebration of life over Kurt's rejection of life. |

Drugs mess with the mind in untold ways; its unfortunate to see the wasted talents (time and time again) among musicians and other artists. You'd think the millions they make would keep them out of rehab - all i ask is wtf?
I remember exactly hearing of Kurt's death; its really too bad he opted out and we'll never know and we all get to miss out on what he would be doing today. Guns are so final. |

I'm a Foo fan and a big Nirvana fan. Of course more Nirvana than the Fighters but still I appreciate them both. In fact Marigold has always been one of my favorite Nirvana songs. At least Dave isn't filling the world with silly love songs. I still haven't had enough of those. |
