Hi all,
I have a CE-2B which I use for bass of course and what I like about it is the E.Level or Mix function. However, what I don't like about it is that the effect is applied only to the harmonics. So, what I want to do is modify this pedal so the effect is applied to the WHOLE NOTE just like the CE-2 or perhaps modify it so the effect is applied to a PORTION of the whole note of my choice using an internal preset pot of some sort... anyone know if this is possible or how to do it ?

From memory, there's very little difference between the CE-2 and CE-2B. As far as I recall, just a cap or two, and the level pot. The chorus is actually applied to the 'whole note' as you say, but then the chorussed sound goes through a hi-pass filter, which cuts out the lowest frequencies so prevent muddiness. Again from memory, I think all you need to do to get the CE-2B to respond likew the CE-2 is change the cap on the output side of the BBD circuit and set the Mix level control to wet.
It's late and I don't have my schematic handy, but I'm sure it's an easy job. |
