well i changed those wires and gave it a try....
IT WORKS!

but still no LED.....

im not sure why the LED doesnt want to work....
i am guessing the problem is deeper inside?

but i dont care for now
it is working and i am a very happy man at the moment.....

but i am thinking that this LED fault may have conciquences later on...

Great to hear that it's working again. Good job.
The LED fault could be the LED itself. They do sometimes break but it's weird if it happened at the same time as the other fault. Maybe check the solder points and make sure it's not another bad contact.

Hi andrewb, Laurie & Guys

Great to hear that it's now working except fot the LED.

Test the LED, or just replace it.

Regards Dr. Bob

thanks for the help guys
maybe it is a broken LED.... i supose i has been stepped on and smashed around just as much as the rest of the pedal....
but for now i am happy with it,,,,
if in the future the pedal breaks again i will look closer into the LED problem :)
