Yesterday, my friends bring me (in the real sense of the word) to the concert of Richie Kotzen, a great singer, guitarist and composer.

I follow him since the first album (1989)... I know, I know, he's one of the kind doesn't use so much pedals (yesterday I saw it just one black pedal, maybe something to gain: a booster or something similar) but remain a great artisti, also I would like to inform you that it was a very god concert, what I need after all these days in the bed.

Here for some pictures shot by me.

Nice pics bro.......i've read interviews with ritchie but have never heard him play or any of his solo material..i know he has a sig strat from fender and he uses cornford amps...i read somewhere the he uses a special footswitch that cornford made for him it does something to the amp to reduce volume but lets him turn it off to boost for solos..i think,i'm not 100% on this... maybe some sort of attenuator..?? ..i will try to find the article about his sig amp to see what the exact spec is .....

Fra': yes Cornford and yes he has a new Strato signature with all ceramic Di Marzio singles. I've tried it and to be sincere it's very good, sounds like an old Strato but more bad and without the "rigid sound" of the ceramics. I don't like too much the look: it seems the "Mary Kaye" model, but if someone would like to give it to me for a gift I'll accept it! ;)

He has a Tele signature too: apple red dithered. I saw it for the first time during his tour with Vertu (with Stanley Clark on bass!) in 1999 here in Rome, in the same place where Zappa (with Steve Vai) had play and record "Man from Utopia" the July 11 1982, the same day Italy won the World Championship of Soccer. Obviously I didn't care it too much, I had prefer Zappa and Vai to any soccer match of all times. In fact there are very few audience and Zappa was very upset.

Back to ampli and to the sound: it has a push and a fat "bad" sound that I can't gain with all the pedals I could add. The cleans are very brilliants and CLEAN, the ods are very creamy and fat but audibles, the crunches are very bad and pushin' a kick in the stomach!

I've recorded with my camera a good part of the concert, if isn't against the rules of the forum and if you give me the time to reverse anything I could add some songs.

EsPeeOne: not bad, the dry blood over the scratches is gone (leaving some large zones "pink piggie" like the guitars of hair metal guitarists in the 80s) the ribs aren't yet soldered, but are back in position. The Doctor said to my wife that it's better for me to eat cheeses and drink at least a liter of milk per day, I've gained 5 kilos in less a month: help me from my wife, please!

I miss to sing!

And don't tell me to drink, you bastards , 'cause I can't!

This is the file torrent of the concert of the last 24th July recorded with my camera and converted in mp3s at 192 kbps. In addition you can find the front and back covers (as Fabius' style). ;)

This is the file torrent of a concert of 2007 at the same location where we had play Orfeo9 last 26th June (Stazione Birra), the quality is almost perfect, the mp3s are 160 Kbps and you can find the front and back covers too.

The file torrent are file that guide the user to a "place" in the net where the real file reside, it needs to work a program like uTorrent or similar.
