| Did not realize some of those pedals were produced in such low numbers. I was almost ready to sell a couple of those, but now I think I will hold on to them. It is still a long shot for any of them to get up there in value like an SP-1, SG-1, etc. |

i have a fz3 on my board in mint condition... i never knew there was only 15000 worldwide..... i don't understand why it didn't sell more i think its quite a good fuzz pedal, maybe when it comes to fuzz people want big muffs, fuzzfaces etc rather than boss.... a few reviews i have read people have said it reminds them of a later silicon fuzzface type of sound...anyway works for me i'll just be a bit more careful of it in future..... |

I looked at the serial numbers for pedals made close to the end of their production span.
Example: PS-3 with serial number BL87643: From the serial number decoder we get: The unit with serial number BL87643 was produced January 1999. The unit is number 27643
The official word from Boss is that the PS-3 was sold up to January 99 so the one above must be one of the last batch produced. Thus the production ended somewhere around unit number 28000.

Hi StratoSphere Sorry to ask a dumb question, but how do you use the EH-2 in stereo? My EH-2, only has MONO Out & MONO In. Or did I miss something in this thread?

Hi Netstar Thanks for clarifying that, I thought I was going nuts.
A stereo EH-2... hmmmm Maybe I could put that into the "What should Boss Make Next" Thread I know Stratosphere would like that one. |

heh heh. Dr Bob, i would love stereo outs for the EH2.
Netstar, The CE-3s arent that rare. you can find em on ebay pretty easily. i find all Boss Chorus sound similar, but the CE-2 does stand out. i think the CE-2 is awesome for chord work as it blends into your sound nicely. the CE-3 and CH-1 i like better for picking stuff or for use with distortion because it doesnt blend with your sound as much. |
