Hey all, I was just wondering if everyone out there has a "list" of sorts, of the guitar(s) they would love to own or already do. Do you own your dream guitar? If you could own any guitar it would be a ________. Whats on your list? No amp discussion please.
Here are a few of mine just to kick things off.
'70s Fender Starcaster
Late '70s Siverburst Les Paul Custom
Add to that a 1950s Fender Telecaster and a 60's Jazzmaster and I think I would be good.
All I need now IS ABOUT THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS! |

Well...if I won the lottery
I would first go out and buy a '59 Gibson Les Paul. Im not a big fan of playing les pauls, but i love how they look and that style they have. Not to mention my hero jimmy pge
I wouldnt mind one of the new fender VG strats either though, it would go well with a late 60s - early 70s strat
And lastly, I would buy all the right tools to build my own. I had a lot of fun with my first one, but it was really hard with just a saw, screwdriver, and sandpaper. I would make it custom to myself and would be my dream guitar. |

I'll play anything besides a Les Paul and PRS. I would like to have that new clear Ibanez Steve Vai model thats like $5,000 but just for the looks, I doubt it plays much better than any other Ibanez.

That's the one that lights up, I was reading about it recently. The Satriani 'Crystal Planet' looks good too with its clear body and components, both way beyond my budget though. I also read about the Vai DNA model, how exactly did he transfer his DNA to the guitars, it's in the paint isn't it? Maybe I don't want to know
I'm not sure what my ultimate guitar would be, I keep flitting between an affordable vintage guitar (early 60's Musicmaster, Duosonic or Melody Maker) or a more practical new guitar (G&L S-500 or Comanche). I had an LP copy but have no real desire for an original (unless I found one mega-cheap). The other guitar I'd like would be a Gretsch with Bigsby, either the new Korean 6120 (affordable) or an American Setzer model (dream guitar, probably unattainable). |

He gave a pint of blood that was mixed into the paint. I don't fancy those as I don't like the neck profile of the wizard neck that was used on it. The normal Jem neck I do like though.
I'd love to have a guitar made for me with a one of kind shape and everything made to my spec. Maybe one day... |

I'm a bass player, and I have my dream bass (washburn XS-2) but if I had a guitar... I think that better guit' than a TELECASTER is another TELECASTER.

Hi kulten Do you know what's even better than that?
A Vintage Telecaster ...
Regards Dr. Bob
Hey kulten I found a Synth dance track that I did back in 1985, on 4 track cassette, & it features my DR-110 drum computer. and my GR-300 & GR-808 Guitar synth.
Still sounds awesome today. |

If i could afford one probably a '54 goldtop, the one with the p90 pickups in it and the wraparound tailpiece....gilmour wheels one out from time to time...really cool sound out of it....and this is surprising for me as i mostly play fenders....and maybe a '59 es335 the one with the dot markers and the kluson tuners(i'm not into gibsons with grovers on them)in a blonde or sunburst finish...
Pedalhead...i like the starcaster bro' not many of them around now... there used to be a band in dublin and the guitarist used one ...i have a fender coronado ii that i posted a pic of many posts ago if i get a chance i'll try to post it again, its like the forerunner of the starcaster...... |

for some unexplainable reason, I've always wanted a Gibson flying V -but I am more than happy with what I've got: 1979 Ovation Balladeer 1966 Mustang - w/ seymour duncan & dimarzio pickups - growls like a monster 1968 Mustang bass 1994 Fender Telecaster (Japan) w/ Texas Specials p-ups 1995 Les Paul Studio Lite (Stupid name, makes it sound like crap beer) |

If possible I would like to have an near mint 57 Stratocaster, most of the the Strats of this vintage in worn & played so much that they usually not are very playable guitars. And it would be nice if it was in some original white colour
. This would be quite expensive and really hard to find, if possible at all.
If I canīt find the money and the guitar I would like to have a nice Custom Shop Strat with three P-90īs and fat jumbo frets, I have always thought this would be a killer combination.

| I've always wanted a left handed telecaster custom (the "72 custom" w/one single coil/one fender hb). The reissue doesn't come left handed. I could go the custom shop route but $$$$. There were a few made on special order back in the 70's but very hard to find and $$$$. I just found a mij one and it's on it's way here!!! |
