ok so i tried it again. so i held it there for a few seconds and tried the guitar the first one i did was IC3 pin 7 no sound what so ever i get a tick but i might be scraping up close to some thing else. and i tested all the other in the order that you told me no sound either. So buy going buy what you tell me that is the order that the opamps go so i am assume that opamp 3 is bad

OK. Good stuff. So, maybe IC3 is bad. Before we can say for sure, we need to test one more point.

Probe C33 (either side) with the LED lit and guitar signal going in.

If there is signal on C33 and no signal on IC3 pin 7, then IC3 is bad. If there is no signal on C33, then there is probably a switching fault...

Replace all 4 opamps. If one has gone, the others may be gone too, but if not then will be stressed.

M5218AL www.smallbearelec.com

Check D6 too (use the diode test feature on your meter). It is probably dead as well. If it is, replace it with a
1N400x (x can be any number).
