I have been promising an update for a very long time and it's finally published.
I've added a new menu system. I sort of liked the old coloured pedal icons but no one found the other products so I had to make a change. With the new menu we've lost the sorting functionality that we had earlier. Sorting on release year was especially useful so I will need to add some sort of timeline application later.
The photo gallery is back. At the moment there's only images of the DC-2, FZ-3, PH-1R, RV-3, SD-2 and TU-2. Please send me pictures, I'll cut them to size and add them to the gallery.
There are 3 more links on each compact pedal page that doesn't do anything right now. The speaker icon will eventually go to a sound sample page, the precence icon will be replaced with some other icon and will go to a review page and the chain icon will go to a links page. The links page is the easiest one and I'll be starting on that shortly.
There's some additions and corrections. New users should not need to ask if there was ever a MIJ DS-2 anymore The new products like the RC-2 and BR-Micro has been added as well as some old ones that I earlier forgot like the WS-800 and FC-50.
Thanks for all the input! Without it there wouldn't be any updates. |

The tree structure is cool but not sure about the horiz scroll bar at the bottom.. & I'm running 1600x1200! It shows fine at full rez but anything under I wish the list almost was a self-adjusting (or relative sized) frame.
I didn't see the Boss Guitar Effects Guide Book Vol. 16 (2001) I sent ya.. must have slipped through the chasms or perhaps you wanted a different scale or something?
Anyway, love the major update & I can't wait for the galleries, sound-clips, & links to finish up! |

Didn't actually notice the horizontal scroll bar before you mentioned it. Will see if I can remove it somehow.
There's still some updates that's missing like guide book 16. Nosio sent me some pics for the gallery that wasn't added either. I decided to publish the new pages without those because I could get distracted by something shiny (like my new RC-2) and postpone everything another month. There will be more minor updates soon. |

Hey Bossarea, quick suggestion, maybe change the Neon Green highlight at the top of each pedal page to something more subtle like a darker shade of grey?
Just a suggestion, everything looks great though, now we gotta fill in the gaps people. C'MON! |

Looks great! Only thing I wondered about was: if anyone new visits bossarea.com they might not immediately realise there's a forum, as the link is now inside the menu tree, whereas before there was a big visible "Forum" link on the main page.
Sound clips is a very good idea, it would be extremely useful. |

Neon Green thing - yeah, I agree with that. I chose the green thing at random and forgot about it. It does look a bit like someone dropped a bucket of paint in there.
Forum link - Good point, didn't think of that. I might bring back the link on the main page. |

| Bossarea, where can I email pics of pedals to? I'm happy to take pictures of my collection (in same format as you did with the TU-2) if you'd like? It would be less work for you. |

| Is there any method to indicate pics, sounds, or links are "active" for a given pedal? |

So did I actually. The coloured icons were sort of child drawings, not professional but still unique to the site. If I can find out how I might use them in the new treeview.

Unfortunately not. Hopefully they will all be active shortly. |

It looks great.
Must have taken quite some time to sort all this info out. In certain sections you do not have yet the production-infon yet like what is there in the compactpedalsection. Things like when something was produced for first time, how long it was made for ect. Sure you will get to that at some stage as there is so much to be done.
