Sadly I wasn't able to make it completely advertisement free but it seems to work and that's the most important thing.
I planned to use google search and while I was searching for how to do it I instead found out how to use live.com search. As already mentioned, I'm lazy, so I grabbed the first solution I found. Thus, the search function is using Live search to produce the results. |

Hi Bossarea & Guys
Thanks for all your effort.
I also noticed that you are implementing a link to the Serial Database.
Will this be a database of our S/N's, or a link to the Serial Decoder?
Regards Dr. Bob |

The serial number database link will enable forum members to browse, search and add serial numbers. Presently I got a spreadsheet containing my archive but that I'm converting it to a database. For every pedal the following information will be logged
serial number model owner label colour MIJ/MIT screw, led, switch, dash 4 misc fields for other info.
I'm currently working on validation and recommendations. If some one adds a serial for a BF-2, it needs to disable a few options like long dash and silver labels because these were never available for the BF-2. It should also prompt the user to add whether it has black or white knobs. Validation will be different for every pedal so there's a lot of work that still needs to be done. |

Just did a search for the xt-2 xtortion, and only got three results, and they were all the same, Dr.Bob's thread of his love for his new pedal, then did a search for xt2, nothing, then xtortion same three threads. Tried XT-2 and got tons of results. Looks like the Search is case sensetive |

| I get 35 results for both XT-2 and xt-2 so it's not case sensitive but as soon as I include Xtortion, I only get 3 results. Using google, I do however get 7 results so live isn't as updated and that's a shame. |

I do miss the ability to search by member or what not. The original forum search had a couple of great features.. |
