Wow, did you take that picture in your garden?
I would need to get some rubbery stand-ins to produce anything of that quality.

Glad we don't have any snakes here, if there are they are none venomous.

At the moment I have a group of european hornets killing a small tree in my backyard.

The Black Snake had the Garter in such a grip that their mutual
stuggle resulted in the Garter snakes injury. Mainly the skin
had been torn down to the muscle but it was still intact and
very much alive.

Thanks for the comments everyone. This type of thing doesn't
happen everyday around my wood pile.

Black and Yellow Garden Spider.

This old gal built her web right next to my deck.
Her body is about 2 inches long. Non poisonous.
