| Perhaps too open a topic, but I'd be interested to hear the comments and rationale.... |

Hands down, I love my Boss RCL-10. While I also have an old CS-3 which gets regular use, the RCL-10 gives me a bit more options on attack and release time, threshold level and ratio. Plus it's dead quiet, almost studio level equipment, and they can be found second hand for around 50 euros.
Lately, I'm gassing for an MXR dynacomp, I hear good things about 'em and would like to try and compare it to the Boss units. |

Hi 4evrnewB & Guys
There was a similar thread that ran recently, about compressor recommendations.
Maybe Bossarea will be kind enough to locate it?
Regards Dr. Bob |

I think that Dr Bob is right..this has been covered a lot lately but suffice to say i disagree with the comments about the CS-3... i think people use too much of the compression effect with it,a bit like using too much treble with the DS-1..try turning the compression down below half aand the volume level up and turn up the attack a lot, this pedal pops up on a lot of top country players pedalboards...i would like to try analogmans bi compressor but i was(or am... ) on a waiting list for well over a year now and heard nothing..basically it's a ross compressor and dan armstrong orange squeezer, two pedals in one.... |

I have the CS1, CS2 and the LM2 and I prefer the Limiter overall better at post distortion too |
