Well, just to chime in here, I lost several fingers in a horrible guppie-breeding experiment gone wrong... But thanks to the miracle of stem-cell research, I'm slowly getting a handle on keyboarding skills.

Then, I was wrongfully incriminated in the Great Manny's Music Pedal Heist Fiasco, and spent a lot of time Underground as a result...

Through the double-dealings of my legal staff, I wound up in the hold of a Croatian germanium-scow, but bribed my way out of certain death with my stash of Persian Brandy...

Now I'm trying hard to rebuild my pedal-relicing business, but it's a hard road.

I'll post more when conditions improve

Hello, all you Bossareans. I've missed all of your friendly smiling avatars, but I just have not been able to spend time here in the recent past.

Reading all of these fine topics just makes me GAS to the extreme, and my disposable income stream has dwindled to a mere trickle since the firewood biz slowed down early Spring. It's unfortunate that these seasonal undertakings don't bring in the cash all year long, but that's where it's at for me until I get the 4-season firewood business developed!

Miss you all and hope to participate again in the future.

Hi Disco Stu

We miss you dude.

Perhaps you could turn some of those lovely timbers,
into some type of custom polished-oiled pedal boards.
During the quite times.

Or maybe some polished Boss storage-display cases,
perhaps one that holds, one or a few pedals?

I Know would buy some - a nice Applewood, Maple or other Boss pedal box.... hmmmm

Regards Dr. Bob

Thanks for the replies and great ideas. With the level of DIY expertise among the members of this board, it never occurred to me that anyone would need handicrafts made by others !

I'll try and build some pedalboards or display cases out of Walnut and Cherry -- those two are among the most revered cabinetmaking woods. I suppose someone needs a fine display case for their super-rare Boss prototype pedals, perhaps highly-polished cherry with a stained-glass dust cover.

So I'll post a jpg when i get a nice example or two built, but for now I have to get away from here before I start GASing again !!

Later
