So, you think that buying these two (OD-2 & DM-2) for 100 euros would be a good buy?
And one more thing, would it bother you to upload a short sample sound of OD-2? |

I should be getting my hands on these two tomorrow (od-2 and dm-3, not dm-2, sorry bout that).
The guy that is selling these pedals told me that the paint is completely peeled off the od-2, and that it has a green LED. This was a bit strange to me, cause I was quite sure all boss pedals have red LEDs. However, this guy told me that he never opened it. Any thoughts?
Also, knobs are replaced with new ones on the dm-3. Unfortunately, new ones don't look the same as the old ones.
Other than that everything about them is OK. They're both MIJ pedals.
100 euros for both of them.
And sure, I'll test them thoroughly before I buy'em. Any details I shoud be aware of when doing this?
I'm sorry for being borring, but I don't want to be ripped off, or anything... Thanks guys! |

As long as they work it's still a good price. The DM-3 knobs can be easily replaced. Roland still has them.
All Boss pedals has red LEDs so if he never opened the OD-2 up, someone else did. |

With the plethora of "modder's" out there I'd have to think these are examples of a replacement LED by someone other than Boss. I found a few that implement green LED's in their mod's just doing a quick Google search.
It will be interesting to see how it sounds and if there is anything inside to indicate any changes. Fun abounds! |

It's funny that you discovered this on another OD-2. I may have to eat my words... but I'll wait until we have another sighting. As Phenry says, there is a lot of modders out there and changing the LED is very easy.
There is actually 2 pedals that comes with green LEDs. The PSM-5 has a two colour red-green LED whgile the LS-2 has a green and a red LED. |

The SD-2 also came with a green led. (Switching between crunch and lead) My favorite BOSS pedal. |
