Hi Guys
There is an Auction for Vintage Wau Wau Fuzz Pedal that has a Boss Sticker on the box, the seller seems to think that it is a genuine Boss product.
maybe we should mail them to let them know?

I can understand his-her confusion, as I own the Non-Fuzz version of this wah (Wau) - with the full size non-tapered tredie pedal.
My pedal like this one has no manufactures name anywhere on it.
But I believe it was sold under the Ibanez brand name for a short while.
I bought mine with a stuffed pot,
(the pot was actually in 3 bits in side it),
back in the very learly 70's, I repaired it with a standard pot, that I replaced every year or so,
(I didn't know much about the different kind of pots for Wahs, back then, I was probably only about 17)
I think I paid $30 for it, lots of loot, back then.
My unit still works & works well, it's about 20-30% larger than a Crybaby.
The other guitarist in my fist band, also bought one of these, he must have thought it sounded good as well.. 
He donated his to me about 10 years ago, after he upgraded to a Crybaby.
So I actually own 2 of the non-fuzz wau wau's.
They both still work, but I did do a mod to mine, many years ago, I added another larger value inductor & a select mini toggle switch.
For ultra DEEp wah (or is it Wau).
Enough reminiscing for now
