I have noticed a few people sharing links on some great acoustic players so I thought a place to post all your favorite stuff would be a good idea I'm guessing since we are in a Boss forum we mostly are electric guitar or bass players here with acoustic guitar more of a secondary venture. If the admins feel this is a good thread idea maybe they will toss in the recent posts in here I know Brutaltarian just posted up about Paco De Lucia. So bring them on guys, any cool stuff you find post it up any style as long as it's on acoustic it's fair game

For the best audio fidelity, check out Don Ross' "Passion Session" recorded in the "acoustically perfect" Passionkirche (sp?) in Berlin.. definitely something to be heard uncompressed - all one take!
I'm familiar with Andy Mckee and i have at least 7 albums by Richard Thompson,who IMHO is a very underrated and should be a lot bigger but listening to these guys...originally with the trio in the 70's with either Larry Coryell or Al deMeola was got me going on the acoustic.. for my two cents this is one of the best from these two

No problemo bro'.... i have this on VHS somewhere ..if fact i have the five nights from Expo 92 somewhere on VHS... the BBC showed this at the time along with interviews with some of the players involved...never saw it on TV since then,except some clips on youtube.....
He makes his own harp guitars & is the best guitarist/instructor in western Washington. Last year, he sat in as a session guitarist for Bad Company while Paul Rogers was on tour with Queen. He plays for HDFusion & Jaded Mary up here in the northwest. I'm so very lucky to have him as my friend. Awesome guitarist.. sure knows his theory.
