Thanks for all.

As I said, the GE-7 is the only pedal that I have. Im building my other pedals (Sansamp GT-2, CE-2, etc), because here in Rio de Janeiro musical equipments are too expensive.

I will try to take some pictures of some boss pedals from one friend.

Cheers.

I understood that BOSS type you have only one but I thought other type of pedals perhaps you also have!

Anyway, if you have any internal picture what you want to share with us just go a head!

Has anyone else noticed the older pedals pcb tracks compared to the newer tracks? The older pcbs have the tracks that look like they were drawn when it was being designed. Notice the irregular shapes and bends in some. The PSM5 is a great example
Guess they switched to a digital program later in production. Everything is all even and layed out smoothly.
A touch of hand craftmanship gone

Hi Christo & guys

In the old days pre PCB CAD Auto-routers.

We used to use opaque tape to layout PCB's
That's why you tend to see a lot of curved & wavy tracks & ground planes.
We did them at 2:1 or 4:1 & reduced them photographically onto film.
Film? remember that stuff.
And the design layout (the look), always reflected on the draftsman that did the artwork.
I still have some of my old designs, archived away in a box somewhere.

Now it's all typically done on some CAD App. with a built in Auto-router.

If yo made a mistake, or needed to do any major modifications, you either had to rip up the old sticky opaque tapes, or start from scratch..

Regards Dr. Bob

Yep... been there done that too Dr. Bob! We used to do industrial stuff so could lay the track at one-to-one scale. Black track-laying tape onto OHP transparency film

Reminds me of when I was in high school and had to go through the whole process of making a metal plate for a printing press. Lay out the artwork, photograph it, develop it a darkroom, mask n tape it, burn the image onto the plate and develop it again in the darkroom.
If there was a mistake, you would have to go through the whole process again
