I have a GP-20 Amp Factory and I think I need a replacement for the Master Volume pot. When reducing the volume to zero, intermittently the volume jumps to nearly (it seems) full volume) before continuing to zero. Needless to say, this is not good when recording with headphones. Has anyone else encountered this malf? Thanks. Steve

G'day and welcome!

I've never had to repair on of these, so I don;'t know if they use the sealed pots or "open backed" pots. if the pot is sealed, it will need replacing - relatively simple and the part can be ordered from Roland. If it is an open-back pot, the problem will probably be fixed with some contact cleaner.

Can you dismantle the pedal and post some photos of the pot?
