I own a couple of these... the FL-100 Flanger (BF-3 Copy?) and the CH-100 Super Chorus (CH-1 copy?). They are shameless Boss copies.
They are pretty good for the price (less than $45 AUD) but I'm not sure how the effects compare to their supposed Boss counterparts as I don't own a Boss Flanger or Modern Chorus.
The cases are good quality metal which feels as robust as a Boss housing. The footprint is exactly the same as a Boss save the slight rounding of the front corners. Unlike the Behringer compacts the Beta Aivins have the input/output and DC jacks in the same position as Boss pedals (this is a very annoying feature on the Behringer housing). The pot action feels exactly the same as Boss and after having a good look I can't detect any physical differences. The footswitch itself works the same and even has the same style of thumb screw as Boss.
The effects are nice sounding, possibly a bit more subtle than their Boss equivalents... I have a friend who owns a CH-1 and another friend who owns a BF-3. I will have to borrow them and do a comprehensive comparison/review.
The graphics on the pedal are an obvious near-copy of the Boss style. I have also seen these pedals branded dfferently (different logo on the rubber foot pad).
All up I think Beata Aivin may be better than Behringer (definitely in the housing), but they still aren't quite Boss... and the range is a bit limited at present (maybe they have more models to come - vintage Boss clones like Behringer have?) |

I just did a search on ebay, and it seems that Beta Aivin are significantly more expensive in the US than in Aus....

| Zerksies, I think you may be getting your clones mixed up - Behringer and Beta Aivin are seperate brands. Behringer = German plastic, Beta Aivin = Chinese Metal. Aside from both being Boss copies, they are quite different (and, of course, neither is as good as Boss). |

+1
I couldn't have put it better myself. If behringer pedals weren't made out of plastic and eggshells and had better knobs and switches then they would be much more like boss competition... |
