Starting a new thread... (is the old thread "too big"? I didn't know). Anyway, here we go!
MIT CE-5 (analogue) came yesterday Had a broken "filter" pot (I got it cheap) - pulled apart awaiting parts from Roland.

Bought a DD-2 about 24 years ago when I was 15, but foolishly sold it a while ago. Won't make the same mistake again w/ this one- just arrived couple of days ago. And the CE-2 I got about a week ago

Hi Laurie
Any chance you might take some pics of your CE-5, for the pedal Internals thread? Laurie, what's your theory, about why they are slotting the holes in the case?
Hi Sixbladeknife
Nice DD-2 & especially, the long dash, (SS) Silver Screw CE-2. It looks in very good condition.
You guys are giving me such a bad case of GAS.
Regards Dr. Bob |

G'day Dr. Bob! I had always thought it was in case they decided to use pots with "tags" - the tag fits the slot? Other than that, I don't know what it might be... |

Just landed a DC-3 Digtal Space-D. Been after one for a while since my own DC-3 went in for repair. It's got to cross half the globe before it reaches me and I'll report back when it does (fingers crossed).
From the pictures it looks in great condition and I've asked the seller to confirm that it's all working - promises me it is. It's got the box but I'm not sure about the instructions - I'll have to wait and see.
I've also just picked up a Fender Custom Shop '60 Relic Strat and the DC-3 should sound great with that. Can't wait...

Well , I registered in here about two weeks ago , and asked about analog delays. Two days later I bought a DM-3 , it arrived thursday.
I liked it so much , I have just bought one more ! First one was from the US , the next was from the UK , oh how I love the internet! Still looking for a DM-2, and would have gotten one yesterday on eBay , but eBay somehow wouldnt let me bid , never experienced that before...... Why buy another DM-3 ? Well , I think its a cool pedal , it was reasonable cheap , and if I get serious about collecting , lots of guys prefere to do trades , it seems... My bandmate cant find his vintage Phaser , and he isnt sure if he sold it years ago.......I will be getting his very early DS-1 in a few days time. Its a silver screw , intermiddent check light one,so it has to be old......When I told him I wanted it , he actually had to call his daughter , she was on the way to a flea market with a lot of stuff to sell.....The DS-1 was actually in one of the boxes , no kidding ! Anyway ,if Im gonna start collecting, I ll buy pedals I think would be cool to use , quite frankly they made a lot of pedals Ill never use.......After the delays , I think the old chorus will be next , and maybe an OD-1 .....theres one for sale locally , with the box and everything.....hmmmmmmmm ! |

Yes , its weird , just an hour later , and it could have been gone... My friend owns a -76 Les Paul , about 5 years ago we changed he pus in it , and now he cant find the originals ! Maybe they went to the fleamarket last time she went there , LOL... You want a DM-3 ? Maybe Ive got an extra one , got anything to trade for it ? |

and I almost thought it was a dead pedal.
it arrived I put a battery in plugged in the jack the LED blinked and went dead... stomped it.. nothing...
okay let's check the battery in another pedal...
works great..
fuck...
ah - oops... there's a bypass mode....
needles to say... it's working perfectly and sounds beautiful
