sir, another question... i have observed that when i used a multitester for c44 of mt2, the needles strikes in a certeain value and goes back to zero, while testing other capacitors on the PCB, the needle strikes on a certain value and strikes back but stocks in a certain value.... i assured that the c44 was soldered properly, i even soldered it's pins beside another component...

my MT2 is still grounded... tweaking is only heard when i interchange my guitar cables( my cables are a little bit grounded too,)
i have noticed also that when MT2 is off, i can't hear any clean tone from my amp...

any comments?

What did you measure at the capacitor? Resistance? It's almost impossible to assess the health of a capacitor with a multimeter anyway and if it's still soldered into the circuit the task becomes even worse. A capacitor should have infinite resistance but when they break they usually still measure the same.

C44 is a capacitor that sits between the high freq pot's adjuster and ground. It should only be an issue if the tone control is misbehaving.

How are your cables a little bit grounded? It's sounds a bit like a girl that is just a little bit pregnant

i switched the mutitester to measure the capacitance of capacitors... even though ican't measure those cap... i did that to observe the reading of multitester on each capacitor.. apparently, c44 was only the 'odd' one... i have stated that above.. when i'm testing the c44, it's just like testing a cap, which is not connected to the PCB( in terms of behavior of the needle og m.tester)

if i already bought new cables... i'll be back here for results, anyway thank you, and i'm hoping to help me outta here... godbless
