I just plugged in my PN-2 for the first time and it's doing nothing at all. No tremelo no sound and I can't get the top led light to come on. The side light comes on but what's the use of that when the sound is not coming on. I got the pedal with no box or manual so I have no idea on how to use this thing. Please help!

I just bought mine few days ago as well. The top LED light will suppose ON when u switch on(step ON) the pedal. The side LED is the rate's beat.(it will ON after u connect the battery, even u hv step OFF the pedal).
Since i bough mine without box n manual as well, I also would like someone can help for the A/B panning. Is that same function like other stereo pedal? like DD6... |

It's broken, the guy sold me a broken PN-2. For $120.00! I am very short on money right now and 120 bucks is like almost all the money I own. I've never recieved anything broken off ebay before, I've had other problems but never like this. The guy's not even responding to my emails. Where's the justice? What would YOU, do? Please I need some advice!

Bad luck, Jilty - I myself would be more than p..... off. You should post his ebay identity so others can stay clear of this fraud.
Cheers anyway |

| Have you tried contacting ebay? i think they have something setup to help you get your money back. if they don't they can at least ban this scumbag from selling more stuff on ebay. give it a try, what have you got to lose. sorry to hear about you getting ripped off. I hope the bastard gets his in the end. |

I'm sorry to hear that you got screwed out of so much $$, Jilty.
if you paid via PayPal, make sure you go thru their dispute resolution process in addition to eBay's process. since the sale price was so high, you may be able to get (some of) your $$ back. you only have 30 days from the date of the sale to initiate PayPal's resolution process, though.
and I agree with Clapton -- if the seller won't make good on the sale, you should also post the seller's name here, to return the 'burn'. |

Sorry to hear about that Jilty... I havent really done any Ebaying myself, but I have often thought about trying it. Hearing about such things as what happened to you is sad. I guess that buying on Ebay really depends on being able to bid with confidence. Hopefully the person who sold the pedal to you will make it up to you and sort things out. If not, he will have a hard time selling other stuff on Ebay in the future Im sure.
Hang in there man... |

Well first of all I'm gonna give him till monday before I start reacting, cause it is possible that he's away from his computer, but I highly doubt it. I went back to read what he wrote about the item and he said that it's in fine working condition or whatever. It looks like he lied to make a quick buck, because we all know BOSS pedals are built like tanks they don't when there packaged well with bubble plastic and shipped. I really hope I can get my money back. This sucks, I was really looking forward to trying this pedal out. Hell, I just but another amp so I could try out the panning effect. If he does not refund my money or send me a working PN-2 I will list his name, the guitar shop he works at and I will get him on Paypal and Ebay.
PS. If I'm stuck with the pedal is there a way I can fix it or get it fixed?

| Well the guy just emailed me and he said for me to send it back to him (a different address?) and he will professionaly fix it and if he can't he will refund my money. Do YOU think I should send it back to him at this new address? Maybe I'm paranoid but I'd hate to lose my broken pedal on top of my $120.00. |

| Sad to hear about your misfortune. Unfortunately this sometimes happens. It might be worth trying to complain to Ebay but I'm afraid they'd regard this as too small a case for them to get involved with. |

| Anything over $25 he can file an insurance claim for on eBay and get the money (minus a $25 deductible) back. Be sure that you send the pedal back to him by traceable mail (I reccomend FedEx Ground, cheaper and often faster than UPS). |
