FWIW, according to the article, the negative feedback left was:

I know that the concept of 'free' speech is different in the UK, as opposed to the US, but that sure sounds like a completely factual, non-inflammatory statement to me. when required, I've left similar (factual/non-inflammatory) negative feedback, although I seldom bid on auctions from outside the US. if the (proposed?) legal action does not get thrown out, it will be very bad for bidders. (on the other hand, ebay sure could use some competition, perhaps spawned by the outcome of this mess.)

The feedback was not libelious; it only described the condition of the phone. I can't believe peeps would fight over that.
