Sadly $160au - $180au is common pricing out here in Oz. If it was in box with manual, I'd bid on it.
I tend to steer clear of the higher $$ units on EvilBay. You can still find some in the $100au ball park range. I've see a few in Pawn shops for around the $79au mark, but not for long... 
Still I can see the CE-2 taking a price hike as the years pass.
Don't tell anyone guys, but I have also started to look for Arion SCH-1 Stereo Chorus pedals as well. Not the tonal-sound quality of a CE-2, but pleasantly different enough to be collectible.

Still the best stomp box to get Leslie sounds. It's one of the few pedals I decided to keep. If I could only have 2 chorus pedals, they would be the CE-5 & the Arion SCH-1. |
