I have an SG with the so called Batwing pick guard (without pickup mounting rings), as you know with this the pickups are a long way from parallel to the strings. Does anyone have an idea how to make them parallel to the strings AND also keep the possibility to adjust the height of the pickups? The easy way to put a piece of wood under the low side of the pickups doesn�t admit adjustments.
Goran, I had the same problem with an old Epiphone SG copy. I sold it several years ago, and I don't remember if I solved the problem or not. however, I had at least considered adding pickup mounting rings, screwed into the pickguard. good luck!
