Something funny happened today at 8:30 am my girlfriend called me to tell she had just won two tickets for the 'Golden Earing'(radar love) on a morning radio show.
What happened: my girlfriend (wife actualy ) knows nothing about music, she likes most music I like but don't know which band playes what and which bandmember also plays in other bands etc.
Yesterday evening I was playing some concerts from http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/ first I played a concert from the 'Byrds' from 71 I guess and later I played a concert from 'The Doobie Brothers' from '75. We both noticed they both played 'jesus is just alright'
Todays question on the radio show: Which song from the 'Byrds' was also a hitsingle for 'the Doobie Brothers' |

I like it when strange and often unlikely coincidences happen like that.
I had a Boss related one just recently!
I noticed an FT-2 on ebay in Italy, listed as a Dinamic Filter. I thought to myself, 'why would anyone mispell something like that when it's clearly printed on the pedal?'
That same evening, outside our local music club which is located below an Italian restaurant, I found a wallet, containing cash, cards, driving license etc.
I showed it to the Italian restaurant owner and she recognised the photo of the guy in the wallet. She said "I'll look him up in the phone-book" - his name was Hyman, so she went to 'H' - then asked "Where is 'Y' in the alphabet?" - I looked at her strangely, then she explained "In Italy, we don't have the letter 'Y'" |

Twilight Zone actually is a Golden Earing song........
I think 3 of the members will become 60 this year, one of 'm is already 61.
I was lucky enough to win tickets for the 'electric' concert while they play acoustic concerts as well |
