Hello people,

I was wondering if anyone can help me create great tone. I have a Boss DF-2 and I am having some problems getting some proper tone out of it....Can anyone make any suggestions on knob settings?

Thanks

the DF-2 isnt exactly known for its distortion tone. dont get me wrong, its a great pedal, but i think most like it for its feedbacker function. i think that its distortion sounds very similar to a DS-1

i find the DF-2 to sound best with tone kept low(around 10 oclock), and distortion around 2 oclock. i dont know if its just my DF-2 or if they are all the same, but mine seems to be quieter than most pedals, so i usually have the level knob cranked.

Get a GE-7 then play with the settings, it will sound much better than just the DF-2.

Ok,

Luckliy I have a GE-7 which is a fantastic pedal. I will use it as a boost...Though I am still searching for the right Distortion setting on the DF-2. I know it is there I just can't find it. Trial and Error I suppose.

Is your pedal order GE-7 then your DF-2 i find that order the best way to control your Dist effect.
