| Order them via a music store, saves a lot of money (if you dont order more stuff at the same time from Roland). And yes, they fit perfectly even on the really old pedals. |

Got them from Roland Scandinavia a couple of days ago and they fit perfectly.
A bit expensive with the shipping and handling, but still worth it...
pedal guide push p/n 2215770201, if someone is interested. |

I measured a grommet from one of my pedals. Not an easy task squishing it while trying to measure at the same time with a ruler, but I digress..
The dimensions I got were: Outer dia: 7/16" (11.11mm) Inner dia: 5/16" (7.94mm) Total thickness: 3/16" (4.76mm) The thickness seems to be a 1/16" groove plus 2 x 1/16" 'walls'
I then went looking on the 'net, many manufacturers' websites, some with huge inventories, but I Ccould not find ANY with those dimensions. None.
Either I didn't measure accurately enough (maybe I mistook 1/2" for 7/16" or something) or Roland has the made specially? The fact that the Boss grommets have a straight angled edge, whilst all the others I have seen have rounded edges tends to point towards this.
Maybe I could have found one that was close enough, but I was getting tired looking. I might try looking in some local hardware stores, but maybe a call to Roland is in order. I see a lot of 'grommet kits' on Ebay but I'm not going to risk buying the wrong size.

| call your boss/roland distributor, if they cant help you contact the australia one. I bought a few a while back to replace some worn ones on some pedals. they where under a buck each. you can get 99% of your parts from them. |

I tried a Home Depot in L.A., they did not have these grommets.
I just placed an order from Boss for a Pot ($4). They have grommets, but they are $5 each???? The tech said he would throw a couple in with the pot when it goes out. That's nice.

Thanks for the reply, I may have to call them. It's hard to believe such a basic item is so hard to find, but all the grommets I've seen have a much smaller inner diameter than what is required, even if the outer diameter & thickness are correct, bespoke grommets it seems! I did get a couple of switches on Ebay, one to repair my DD-2 plus a spare in reserve. |
