Hey everyone. I'm booked into a studio to record an ep at the start of march, im going to use my DR 880, i have the drums for the songs programmed already and was wondering would it be possible for the engineer to solo the snare, bass drum, etc, so each is on a single track? Any help would be much appreciated, cheers!

You can do something like that by assigning the outputs as outlined in the instruction manual. I believe you are limited to three outs. One for bass, one for snare, and a third for everything else.

I know you can route the instrument in the DR880 to and IND A and B, However you need to pan drums or bass to R & L and assign them to R & L and also the IND A and B. You should save the settings for the bass and kit to the user location, then its always there for future use.
