Has there been a thread outlining errors in this book? I just noticed that it has an end-date on DS-1 production. Anything else I should look out for?

CE-2 was produced much longer than indicated by the Boss Book, comes to my mind right now. And there are more mistakes in it for sure.
Somebody (Bossarea??? ) should write a new Boss-book, lots and lots of facts have shown up on this forum. Besides the Boss-book was written by Boss.

There are quite a few errors in this book, none of which I can remember from the top of my head apart from the CE-2 production length one.

What I'd really like to know about the book though (as I suppose lots of other people do too) is who is the mysterious Mr. M? And how in the name of Henry Winkler's toe-nails did he manage to find that many SP-1 pedals?

The OD-1 production date are also wrong. Not long ago there was one with a 6 digit serial number starting with 9 on Ebay. That means approx 1988.

There's also the unanswered question about the first label displayed in the book. They say it was used on the first pedal but the one pictured clearly has a black thumb screw. That doesn't seem right.

I suspect the OD-2R production end is wrong too. Boss only removed it from bosscorp.co.jp last year.

Are you sure that OD-1 serial # was accurate, I find it hard to believe they were still in production until 1988

As far as the end date on the DS-1, I thought I heard somewhere that DS-1s are no longer for sale in Japan. Maybe I misread something, but could that be what the end date is in reference to? I wish I could remember where I read that...
