Hi Everyone
Well in about 11 hours, it will officially be the New Year here in Australia.
So I'm getting in a bit early, in case celebrations & visitor overload get out of hand.
Plus I guess the servers will cop a real beating round that time of the night, from country to country.
Last year I was unable to send an SMS for hours, because of an overloaded Cellular network.
So Happy New Year 2009 to everyone.

Have you noticed btw, that we've been pretty busy on the forum this year? In the "compact pedals" alone we've reached 44 and 1/2 pages of 137 total, that's about 1/3 since 2005 when the board started, not bad  And I haven't even counted the rest.
Not to mention the number of pedals all the members got new this year.
I haven't been watching statistics on that, but I got 3 and sold 2 others, and I'm pretty damn sure other members got a lot more.
Anyway, since there's no smiley holding a glass of champain cheers and watch out with fireworks.

...and DeFrag - what a very pleasant seasonal photo to finish off the year - I've always enjoyed colorful landscape scenes with plenty of humps and bumps in the right places ...you've got my celebrations off to a great start mate - much appreciated !!

Hi Guys
Mrs Dr. Bob & I have just arrived home, after after seeing in the new year.
We had a few of these & red ones, in a toast to all the members here on the forum.
Well Mrs. Dr. Bob had a few more than I did.
I was being responsible, as I was the designated driver for the evening.
Still, we were up on a mountain face, & we got to watch all of the East, South East side of Melbourne, set off their Illegal fireworks.
Yep sadly Fireworks are now Illegal in Victoria, Australia.
Still it was lovely to see all those citizens break the law & set them off.
I hope your "still to come New Year festivities" are even better than ours.
The local boys down the road, just let off another spectacular round of the contraband.
