Hi HohnerFan
very nice OD-1 Do you know what Revision it is?

As a general rule of thumb to all members - when posting hi-res pics to the forum, please try to keep them to around 1024x768 or smaller.
You risk the Server timing out on you when uploading. And they display at full size on the forum.
I'm not sure if there's HTML code that will allow me to resize them on the fly. I guess I'll have to ask Bossarea-Admin.

| Nice OD-1. I've been trying to secure one myself, and I would have easily paid the price you paid. Good score my friend! |

Uhnnnn.... Nice OD-1 HohnerFan.
Here is my newly aquirred SD-1 Jan. 1985. One knob is wrong and it is badly gig rashed but here lays my non boxed MIJ SD-1. The fake silver screw pulled me in.

Picked up a minty PN2 Tremolo/Pan w/box for a mere $90 locally. The panning in stereo is stellar!!
Makes me wonder about the fate of my TR2 now...

Awesome deal on the PN-2, congrats... it's definitely one of my favourite pedals. I'm thinking of getting another (I currently have a BehClone of it aswell and they make some really freaky effects together)...
I'm thinking of trying to mod one to use expression pedal to control rate.... |

my new BOSS, I had one about 15 years ago, sold it in 1996 (needed money to buy a new amp, I sold some things).
found that one used yesterday in a local music store, 48 Euros, remind me the old days, and picked up this wonderfull toy.
it's a MIT, the serial number CB54716 says it was produced in June 1990.
it will help me to have a cool sound with my fretless bass :

I opened it, it's a DBX 1252 CHIP
I really know nothing about chips and electronic, so, in simple words please, what's the difference between the DBX1252 and the THAT2159 ???

General consensus is that the THAT chips ones are pretty naff hence all the mods. The DBX ones however are rather nice in my humble opinion, my one is quiet and pretty much tonally transparent.

thanks a lot archimedes !
I'm sorry, but "pretty naff hence" are new words for me (I'm French)... well ... I think that means the THAT2159 chip is not so much good, no ?

that's just what I want, cool !
I'll try it soon, have to buy a new battery...
anyone else can hear differences between the DBX1252 and the THAT2159 ?
