Hey forum! I'm in the process of buying what I'm told is a late 70s Electro Harmonix Small Clone. It's in pretty rough cosmetic shape (lots of paint chips and some rust), but it functions well.
I remember these things sold for a few hundred before the reissues came out, but it seems like the asking price has fallen since. What is a fair price to pay for a vintage Small Clone?
probably around 100 bucks I had one before it got stolen by some crack dealer Idk if it was vintage or not though as it came in a wooden box when i got it
I'd say somewhere between $100 and $200 depending condition. The vintage EHX stuff in OK condition is listing in the $200 to $400 range at the moment, but doesn't seem to be selling (apart from the super old Big Muffs).
I've noticed that as well. I actually went to check it out tonight and it turned out to be a reissue that was just really scratched up. I don't think the guy was trying to pull one over on me... but I'm definitely disappointed.
