| This is actually worse than I thought. After a messaging exchange with the seller, it appears that he/she is claiming that the silver screw pedals are a sort of custom shop version of Boss pedals that were made in addition to the black plastic screw versions. |

Quote from the seller:
"Meaning I'm pretty sure that these were built "on the bench" so to speak... whereas the rest of the line was built using a more automated process. The screw colour was used to differentiate the products. That aspect is pretty much common knowledge."

| Oh geeze. Honestly mis-informed do you think, or intentionally misleading? |

My response:
"No, common knowledge is that the siver screw was used first (1977), then they switched to the plastic screw in early 1981. I've never heard this story before. There's nothing magical about the silver screws other than that they are the older pedals."
Seller's response: "Ok man... believe whatever you were brought up believing. I'm not into "discussing" it. Unless you worked for Boss from '77- '81 I'm not really interested in your speculation.
Peace."

or at least re-locate knobs from an NF-2 or other lower value pedal that has the correct square profile set-screws.
And my 2 cents, "the more the words, the less the meaning" too lengthy descriptions can get you in trouble, in the case of a pedal, I would just let the pictures talk. |

| The OD-1 did not meet the reserve. You people just don't know the value of a special edition Boss custom shop silver screw!! |
