Well, I guess every pedal could be considered rare if you take into account the way the paint has been scratched off.

I wonder if the seller really thinks they have something rare or if they bought it like that and genuinely think they have something highly sought after!?!?!?

judging by the description, this guy doesnt know what hes talking about. how could you think that its actually a "super rare" silver edition. you can clearly that the paint has been scraped off all over the pedal. hes either a scammer or a huge moron. not to mention this guy has a 0 rating, and the item has 21 bids at $16.

i know im going to sound like a big ignorant pedal nerd, but i really dont like when people misrepresent their items like this. this is clearly NOT first issue like he claims in the description, and if i were to buy this and later find out, i would leave a big fat negative!

to me this looks like a 80s TW-1. the dead giveaway is that its black screw, and also the threaded end of the input jack sticks out way past the nut indicating that it was made in the 80s. both my TW-1s have the threaded end completely covered and the one was made in Decemeber 79 so this one was most likely made sometime after that...

sorry for the rant

This is my favourite:

Today TW-1 was written T-WAH, this model was written only WAH (no T)

.. so the T was scraped off aswell
