Better story: the new band, The Blairs http://www.myspace.com/theblairsband, is named after Eric Arthur Blair (aka George Orwell).
i remember reading your name a while ago and it instantly reminded me of the Greenday song. i cant remember how it goes but its off the Nimrod album |

I had a Peavy Bandit with a 12 " speaker, spring reverb, and built in distortion, and it suited my needs perfectly. But I saw a good deal on an old Peavey Renown with 2 12" speakers, built in distortion, and spring reverb. But you need the foot controller pedal for this amp or both channels are on at the same time, so I bought a foot controller pedal , and it suited my needs perfectly. But I didn't have chorus, so I bought a chorus pedal secondhand. I didn't want batteries, so I bought a psa adaptor. It didn't work because of the ASA/PSA thing. So I bought a tuner pedal and it suited my needs perfectly. But I did't have tremolo so I bought a tremolo pedal and it suited my needs perfectly. But I didn't have stereo........ |

The band was made up of Reading/Writing teachers at the English Prep school of a Turkish university (faculty classes are, theoretically, taught in English, & we get them ready for faculty) & students have a bad habit of including additional "redundant" information in their answers. we ended up changing the name to Karatahta (Turkish for "blackboard") because too many people had trouble pronouncing "redundant." |

Mine is my real name (Fabio) in latin and I use this nickname since the the bbs times, before the born of internet as we all know it.
The name of my company "Le Strane Felci" comes from a phrase of one of the songs of the rock opera that we are preparing and means "The Strange Ferns"... so use your imagination to guess what are these strange ferns. ;) |

I came up with mine after drinking enough liquid courage to register as a new member. Then my paniced mind came up with the closest relation I could think of between my boss pedals and myself. And it was a lame one. |
