Hi,

Does anyone encounter with a background noise when the CE-3 is on?
When I press on the bypass foot switch the noise disappears.

I don't hear such noise with my othere BOSS chorus pedals that I have (CH-1, DC-2, DC-3, CE-2, CE-5).

Thanks
Moshik

well most analog effects will give off a more background noise than a similar digital, but i didnt find the CE-3 to be noticingly noisy.

Maybe someone has fiddled around with the internal trimpots?
It could get noisy if it's not properly calibrated.

I have the same problem in my CE-3. Do all of the CE-3's require a ACA adapter. I think I've probably used a PSA adapter in the past. Could that have caused the problem?

Yes, using my CE-3 I also noticed this noise.
It can be an unique behaviour of this pedal however this is using basicly same semiconductors as others. But it is sure that only this chorus of my staff producing this kind of background noise.
In case of my CH-1, CE-5, CE-2, CE-2B (2pcs, MIT and MIJ), never heard. Intresting...
