I have a Ibanez DE-7 with a broken 3 way switch for the range, does anyone know if this is easy to replace or what type of switch is it? It is the one on the left.
I never really pulled mine apart that far. If you do please post a pic or two of the switch.
May I suggest you take the PCB with switch to your local electronics supplier, to see if they have a similar one. I know my local supplier/s have a lot of stuff that is a very close match.
Or you may want to contact the Ibanez service agent in your local area. Or even Ibanez in your country. Most times the service guys/agents are quite helpful, & they may even have a spare or Second Hand one off an older trashed pedal.
With a bit of care, sometimes you can rebuild a faulty slider switch, I've done it a few times. Sometimes the Slide switch gets difficult/impossible to move. because the grease/lubricant dries out, & all it needs is a fresh, dab of lubricant.
