I have an OD-3 and MD-2. OD-3 is used for the vintage overdrive and the MD-2 for a high gain tone that sounds Marshall 900-ish. I think I will sell my Line6 crunchtone on ebay since the Boss pedals are better sounding IMO except that the Line6 can do a good class-A style VOX tone.
Funny you should say that about Line6 products. I'm doing way better for the crunchy stuff with a DS-1/OD-3 combo than I did with the Uber Metal, and the construction is so much better than Line6 "toy quality" product...
Actually, I find it strange that the Tonecore product knobs and so on seem so flimsy; they're designed by "Mr. Huge" of the now defunct and very expensive (in eBay land) Way Huge Pedals.
...Anyway. Everyone should own a Giga Delay. It's amazing. I do have an excessively expensive boutique analog delay on my pedalboard, and the Giga does a damn fine job of copping the tone. Not exact, not quite as warm, but for $200 it's more than close enough. Dig it.
